Begin Your Verification Journey:

Navigate to Verification: Within “My Profile,” you’ll find the option to “Start Verification.” This is your first step toward establishing your credibility on the platform.
Engage with Veriff: Following the “Start Verification” prompt will redirect you to Veriff, our trusted verification partner. Veriff’s intuitive process will guide you through the necessary steps, requiring some basic documentation and information.
Achieve Verification: Upon completion, a badge will be prominently displayed on your profile. This badge is more than just a symbol; it’s a declaration of your commitment to security and authenticity, making you stand out to potential renters.

How to Set Up Your Payout Method?

Access Your Wallet: Go to the “Wallet” section located in the left sidebar of your RentaNook dashboard.
Choose Your Payout Method: Within the Wallet, navigate to the “Payout Methods” tab and opt for “Bank Transfer” as your payout method.
Provide Your Bank Details: Enter the necessary bank transfer details, including the account holder’s name and address, account number, bank name, IBAN, and BIC/SWIFT code.
By setting up your payout method, you ensure a seamless and secure way to receive your earnings from hosting, selling, or providing services through RentaNook.

How Do I Create My First Offer?

List your space and additional services with these steps:

  1. Click “Add Offer”: Choose one from type offer “Rent”, “Services”, “Event” or “Items for sale”. Provide details about the space, servises or items and add images that showcase it.
  2. Await Our Quick Review: Your offer will be live shortly after our team has reviewed it.

What Happens After My Offer Gets Published?

Your storage space is now open for business!
Make the most of your offer with these tips:

  • Engage with the RentaNook Host Community.
  • Share your offer and additional services on social media.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and requests.

How Will I Know if Someone Is Interested?

You’ll get notified via email when there’s a reservation request.

A Renter Has Requested My Offer! What Do I Do?

You have 24 hours to approve or decline. Our community values swift transactions, so requests left unresponded expire after 24 hours. If you haven’t enabled the instant booking feature when posting your offer, this manual approval process allows you to vet potential renters. Check your My offers page for details on the request.

How Does the Renter Pay?

Upon receiving approval for a rental request, the renter is immediately billed for the first month’s rental fee. All subsequent payments are automated, facilitating a smooth and effortless transaction process via the RentaNook platform. We utilize Stripe as our secure payment gateway, ensuring that all transactions are transparent and secure. Renters are charged at the beginning of each rental period.

How Am I Paid?

All payments are securely processed through Stripe, guaranteeing transparent and safe transactions. Your earnings are transferred to your linked bank account weekly on Mondays for the previous week’s transactions. Please note that it typically takes between 3 to 5 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Note: A nominal processing fee is deducted from each transaction. This fee supports value-added features such as our Host Guarantee and Payout Protection programs.

What are the processing fees?

When offer your spaces or services as a Host & Provider on Rentanook, we apply transparent processing fees to ensure seamless transactions. For each rental transaction, Rentanook charges a modest 5% (Including 22% in taxes) processing fee on the total payout to hosts. This fee covers the cost of automated billing and provides Payout Protection for up to two months, ensuring peace of mind for our hosts.

Moreover, when booking services offered by Hosts & Providers, a 15% (Including 22% in taxes) processing fee is applied to facilitate smooth and secure transactions. This fee contributes to maintaining our platform’s high standards of service and reliability.

In the case of selling goods on our platform, Rentanook charges a competitive 12% processing fee (Including 22% in taxes) on the total sale amount, ensuring a fair and transparent marketplace for both sellers and buyers.

Are Reservations Month-to-Month?

Our month-to-month reservation system offers flexibility and assurance for both hosts and renters. RentaNook guarantees a smooth process with clear communication guidelines, ensuring that any changes are mutually agreed upon in a timely manner. This approach encourages ongoing trust and collaboration within our community. Should you need the renter to vacate early, a 30-day notice is mandatory. Cancellation can be done through the platform.

How Am I Protected?

We take your safety seriously, offering a Host Guarantee that aligns with EU standards. Payout Protection ensures you’re compensated even if the renter is late or stops paying. In partnership with our insurance providers, we offer tailored insurance for the property and items. This ensures a more secure and trusting relationship between hosts and renters, with protection that fits your specific needs.

Should I Share My Personal Information?

For your security, always use the RentaNook messaging platform for communication. Personal details like your address will only be shared with the renter after the reservation is approved.
